This 52 week program includes 790 clinical hours, meeting the standards required by the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of British Columbia.
You will gain a wide knowledge of the nursing profession, including anatomy and physiology, care for specific disease conditions, including dementia, and therapeutic communication skills. You will also learn care planning and important factors affecting health and healing. With weekly practice in an on-site nursing lab, you will also gain real life experience.
CHCA’s experienced instructors will give you the knowledge and experience necessary to pass the national nursing licensing examination, and secure your dream job in long term, or acute care settings.
