Business Computer Specialist
This program builds a solid foundation in fundamental computer and professional skills. Emphasis is placed on learning a variety of business application software, discovering what the Internet is all about, and gaining accounting fundamentals and skills in some of the most popular software applications in use today. Furthermore, it develops those professional skills which are highly sought after by all employers.
The program focuses on three key areas. First, the focus is on rounding out software application knowledge of spreadsheets, databases, presentations, and personal management software. Then students gain the common knowledge required to maintain a personal computer. Lastly, there is an emphasis on accounting, with training and then practice using the most common accounting packages used in today's small to intermediate and then large corporate offices.

Graduates of this program will be ideally suited for positions in small to medium-sized organizations here an individual with superior IT (Information Technology) and accounting skills is required. Typical positions for which graduates can expect to qualify include:
