Personal Support Worker Training
CDI College's Personal Support Worker program will train you in all aspects of personal support for individuals needing temporary or permanent assistance. Not only will you learn to be a facilitator in the healing process, you will also learn to identify and respond to the physical and emotional needs of clients and the safe and proper handling of specialized equipment. Your key skills, however, will be evident in your ability to provide personal and physical care with compassion, empathy and respect for the individual.
Full-time and part-time employment opportunities for Personal Support Workers are varied, and available in such settings as retirement homes and residences, hospices, long-term care facilities, home health care agencies, and group homes.
