Your duties as a Pharmacy Technician can include the preparation of medication for dispensing, compounding pharmaceuticals, preparing aseptic products, inventory control, purchasing, and merchandising. You may be called upon to do record keeping, narcotics control, third party billing, drug distribution, pre-packing pharmaceuticals, computer processing and clerical, and other duties as necessary. You may also look after home health-care products such as canes, vision aids, and hearing aids.

As a graduate, you can work in a fast paced retail health care environment in community-based retail pharmacies.
