Audio Production and Engineering
Prepare to immerse yourself in the world of music and audio production through Metalworks Institute’s Audio Production and Engineering program. You will tap into the constantly evolving music/audio industry. The courses take you through everything from analogue to digital technology so you get a feel for the past, present, and future of audio production and engineering. The training provides you with practical experience in audio labs and studios. The equipment used includes Pro Tools HD 3 systems, and SSL and Digidesign ICON consoles.
Over a year, you will work through three levels of training. You will start out by covering the basics of music production, acoustics, and more, and will finish off with advanced skills in areas such as psychoacoustics and live sound. You will possess the professional knowledge and abilities needed for a career as a record producer, audio design engineer, theater sound designer, and so much more!
