In addition, the Prior Learning Assessment Recognition and Degree Completion process examines any previous training or learning you have received outside of a traditional university environment, and if it is equivalent to your curriculum, you may be eligible to receive credit toward your program and graduate even faster!
The career-focused and hands-on programs can lead you down exciting paths to career fields like culture, heritage and tourism, media and communications, and business. No matter which program you choose, you will learn in small classes of 35 students or less. In addition, each program is further broken down to Learning Teams of 5 to 6 students.

University Canada West operates under the authority of the British Columbia Ministry of Advanced Education and Labour Market Development, on recommendation of the Degree Quality Assessment Board. The term "university" is used under the written consent of the Minister of Advanced Education, Government of British Columbia, Canada, effective August 9, 2004, having undergone a quality assessment process and been found to meet the criteria established by the minister.
